What’s new
🇬🇧 | Snowflake flowers 🇨🇿 | Bledule jarní 📸🏞🌎 . 🇬🇧 | Every year they seem to elude me... Before I can get myself together and head out to photograph them (and also because I’m waiting for the right conditions, which invariably arise when I don’t have the time), the snowflakes have already bloomed, and the next time I visit the forest, all that’s waiting for me are but grown nettles 🙂. So this year, I set out at the first signs that they might be growing, and the conditions seemed favorable. In the end, I found practically only this one clump—the others were sticking out of the ground just as green stumps with a hint of hidden flowers. I had planned to go out one more time and photograph proper carpets of these first harbingers of spring in full bloom—but since I’ll probably miss it again, I’m sharing what I managed to capture this year 🙂. .
🇬🇧 | The Garden of Eden 🇨🇿 | Rajská zahrada 📸🏞🌎 . 🇬🇧 | When I look at this photo and scenery, the words of our national anthem come to mind: "The orchard is glorious with spring blossom, Paradise on earth it is to see." It's hard not to be captivated by this view, this impressive combination of delicate cherry blossoms and the dramatically rising conical hills of the Central Bohemian Uplands. On that occasion, I also met Ladislav Kamarád, a veteran of landscape photography. We exchanged a few words and waited together for the "fucker cloud" - the expression he invented:-). And it came! But before that, these interesting conditions arose at the very beginning of the golden hour. The photo then sat on my computer for a long time, as I wasn't sure if anything interesting would come of it. Only now did I give in and start working on it. And suddenly I saw how it was really blossoming under my hands and growing more and more in my favor. That's how it sometimes is - some photos just have to mature... Or the photographer has to mature! .

– ABOUT ME –

I pursue the beauty of space through photography. Beauty and aesthetics are elements that intertwine with both of my focus – landscape photography and interiors and architecture photography.
I have a deep relationship with nature and landscape and I’m far from just photographing them. Just being there is uplifting for me and I find in it not only the beauty, but also a certain meditative dimension, calmness and connection. Similarly, I appreciate design and architecture, which also works with space, and the emphasis on beauty and aesthetics is its crucial part. In both cases, I focus on capturing all the important elements in the best possible way and emphasizing and multiplying in the photographs what nature or human hands has created.
Between 2015 and 2020, I worked as an Olympus (currently OM System) product specialist, whose cameras I use and with whom I continue to work as a lecturer and OM System Ambassador.
